Working Supervisor – Cheadle, Staffordshire

Our client is a well-established, successful, and ever-growing independent wholesale business.

They are looking to expand their team and recruit a Working Supervisor to work on site in their wholesale business in Cheadle, Staffordshire Moorlands.

This will be hands on role, which be varied, fast paced and exciting. Working within an ever-changing industry this role will suit someone who can adapt well to change and is extremely well organised.

Working Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Collaborate, lead, motivate, and organise the warehouse team, leading them to deliver a quality focused and efficient operation.

• Ensure that safe working practices are adopted and observed at all times.
• Cover the delivery driver where necessary.
• Provide great customer service at all times to walk in customers.
• Implement new initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Learn and adapt to new procedures and products in an ever changing and dynamic industry.
• Manual packing and organising of products.
• Overseeing the delivery and checking of orders.
• Ensure accurate dispatch of customer orders.
• Supervise and control order picking, stock replenishment and everyday duties.
• Stock checking of goods.

The ideal Working Supervisor will need to be/have:

• Experience in retail, till experience and stock taking – desirable.
• Forward thinking, able to learn quickly and implement new initiatives.
• Customer focused, offering excellent customer service at all times.
• Well organised.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, manual environment.
• Ability to multitask, managing multiple tasks at one time.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Honest and reliable.
• Team player, the ability to get on well with other members of the team.
• PC literate.
• Clean driving license.

Working 40 hours a week-

Mon:10am-6pm, Tues:11am-6pm, Weds:8am-4pm, Thurs: Off, Fri:10am-6pm, Sat:8am-1pm, Sun:9am-1pm (every other)

This role is permanent, offering a competitive salary DOE around £13 per hour 27K per annum.
