Warehouse Operator, Cheadle, Staffs

My client is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operator on a permanent basis.

Candidates MUST have a current forklift license and preferably experience using a VNA truck, although training would be carried out on this internally. Candidates will need strong experience working in a warehouse environment, with a solid knowledge and experience of recording dispatches and deliveries.

The Warehouse Operator role will involve:

• Stock movement, picking, checking, loading and unloading
• Booking deliveries and dispatches in an out
• Using a VNA truck to collect and deliver items in the warehouse
• Some process operator work
• Various other duties needed for a daily operation in a warehouse environment

The ideal Warehouse Operator candidate will need to be/have:

• Experience working within a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Prior forklift license experience and a valid forklift license
• Strong attention to detail
• Good English and Maths skills
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to use an iPad to record deliveries and dispatches
• VNA truck experience/license desirable

This is a permanent role working Mon-Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm and early finish Fridays finishing at 1.30pm.
